View the resulting project from this year's LAB, a four week online collaboration by twenty-five selected teens.

Their massive-scale photo mural is a collaborative collage presented on the highly visible exterior space adjacent to Locust Projects' gallery in the Miami's Design District! Everyone will be able to view safely 24/7 for approximately two weeks.

Celebrating its 10th Anniversary year, LAB encourages students to develop ideas and work collaboratively. This unique, hands-on program invites creative teens to widen their perspectives, connect with peers and established arts professionals, learn about creative careers, build their portfolio, and gain the behind-the-scenes experience of producing a collaborative project from scratch.

Join us to close Summer Jade Leavitt's Language is Leaving Me with an online screening of two short films by Maya Deren, Meshes of the Afternoon and At Land, followed by a conversation led by the artist and (F)empower, an organization of queer culture shifters creating a radical feminist awakening in Miami. Admission is a suggested donation to (F)empower's Community Bail Fund in an amount that is equitable and right for you.
