FAQs - Exhibition Open Call

Who is eligible?

All artists, regardless of age, gender, and nationality.

Who is not eligible?

Artists who are or will be enrolled in a college or university art degree-granting program are not eligible to apply.

What type of work can be proposed?

Work must be new work that has never been exhibited before, ideally work does not exist and would be created specifically for our venue.

Can you give me examples of past projects?

Please see our past exhibitions web page.

If my proposed show requires extensive installation time, is that possible?

Yes, Locust Projects will facilitate projects that require significant installation time. Installations can take a number of weeks, so artists are provided a temporary residence in Miami.

I’m an artist living outside the United States; can I propose a show for Locust Projects?

Yes.

Can PDFs include links?

Yes, they may include links to websites, video hosting services as well as links to galleries, previous exhibitions, and/or past reviews.

Can I submit my application without using Submittable?
