General Store:
The Four-Color Pen Show

Curated by Elysia Borowy and Heather Hubbs In the project room, the communards of Milwaukee's General Store are organizing a sprawling drawing show in which artists can use that reliable old staple of American high school graphics: the four-color pen. No other requirements were given. The list of artists thus far covers the spectrum, from heavyweights Julie Mehretu and Jim Lambie to Matt Greene and Chicago brawler Vince Dermondy (full list of artist below*). This show will open in two states simultaneously-part at Locust Projects and part at General Store in Milwaukee. We'll have a live feed of the Midwestern madness.
