Immerse yourself in the world of visual mixing and synthesis with this hands-on VJ workshop led by CHROLIK, a spatial experience designer and new media artist who specializes in creating interactive, multi-sensory environments. In this session, participants will gain a thorough introduction to the core skills, essential techniques, and software required to mix video, focusing on how to blend visuals and sync real-time animations and imagery with sound. Throughout the presentation, CHROLIK will demonstrate how to manipulate video using Resolume Arena and Avenue, an industry-leading suite of software used by VJs worldwide. This workshop is perfect for beginners eager to explore the dynamic world of VJing, as well as for those looking to refine their skills and deepen their understanding of real-time visual performance.

  • Introduction to Resolume: Gain a working overview of Resolume, the industry-leading software for VJs worldwide and learn how Arena & Avenue’s intuitive workflow can help you mix and play your content for live shows and performances.
  • Hands-On Demonstration: Watch a live demonstration of how to set up Resolume with personalized layouts and integrate content to mix with various effects such as BPM synchronization and color correction. 
  • Practical Tips: Get tips on how to streamline your VJing process, troubleshoot common issues, and make the most out of your creative toolkit.
