Artists and attendees of all skill levels are strongly encouraged to #BYOL (Bring Your Own Laptop) and follow along!
7pm Workshop | Angela Rio: Club Sinema
Filmmaker and community organizer Angela Rio shares the digital strategies behind Club Sinema, a Caribbean pop-up cinema and production house uplifting Miami’s Black and queer creatives. This workshop introduces nontraditional, community-based approaches to making and distributing work, highlighting grassroots organizing and self-sustaining creative practices. Participants will walk away with strategies for building collaborative projects that grow from their own communities and contexts.
9pm Performance | Nami Flare (aka Iman Clark): Siren’s Allure
Linger late as burlesque performer Nami Flare (aka Iman Clark) brings her multimedia revue to the DiLL for a sensual solo performance that follows a siren’s journey from the Mississippi Delta to the Caribbean Sea. Costumes, soundscapes, and video projections create an immersive underwater world where the audience is invited to leave their shyness at the door and come along for a multimedia voyage spanning sight, sound, and time.
This event is free and open to the public, and presented as part of the Knight Digital Innovation Initiative at Locust Projects. Refreshments are provided for guests aged 21 and older, courtesy of our 2025–26 sponsors The Tank Brewing Co. and Topo Chico.
