This month’s DiLL turns its focus to strategy, systems, and computer logic with a business development workshop by interdisciplinary artist and creative strategist Haiiileen, followed by an experimental live performance by architect and sound artist Marcelo Ertorteguy. Artists and attendees of all skill levels are strongly encouraged to #BYOL (Bring Your Own Laptop) and follow along!
7pm Workshop | Haiiileen: The Art of Strategy (Business Development for Creative Minds)
Artist, cultural strategist, and DiLL alumni Haiiileen leads a practical session for artists ready to elevate their practice with a long-term vision for success. Drawing from her experience as founder of Rainbow Oasiiis and the Chroma Art Film Festival, Haiiileen covers everything from AI-driven project management tools and branding to funding strategies and sustainability. Participants will map out creative business models that best suit their goals and walk away with tangible tools for turning inspiration into action.
9pm Performance | Marcelo Ertorteguy: Paralogicus
Linger late as architect, artist, and STEREOTANK co-founder Marcelo Ertorteguy presents Paralogicus, an improvised live demo-performance fusing rigorous design with sound art. Built from custom digital interfaces co-developed with ChatGPT, the performance asks: What happens when human intuition collides with algorithmic logic? Layers of visuals, aleatoric sound, and acoustic instruments unfold as a meditation on the creative implications of imagination supported by technology. Recommended for fans of hypnotic projections, sonic textures, and spontaneous collaboration between man and machine.
This event is free and open to the public, and presented as part of the Knight Digital Innovation Initiative at Locust Projects. Refreshments are provided for guests aged 21 and older, courtesy of our 2025–26 sponsors The Tank Brewing Co. and Topo Chico.
