Ever wish you had a digital assistant to handle tedious administrative tasks? Or wanted to understand what actually makes a complex, tech-heavy live performance happen? This month, join us for a workshop on how to build AI task agents by Moises Sanabria, then linger late as Miami trio SUMO tears down their rig before turning up the volume for a live performance. Come ready to ask questions and leave with a few new tricks. Artists of all skill levels are encouraged to #BYOL (Bring Your Own Laptop) and follow along.

7pm Workshop | Moises Sanabria: The Art of AI Agents (Artist Task Automation)

Artist and creative technologist Moises Sanabria leads a hands-on session where participants use drag-and-drop tools to build generative agents that can perform simple tasks. In a post-workshop performance, those same agents speak, sing, and fight in a chaotic Synthetic Symposium, remixed live by Sanabria using sound and audience feedback.

9pm Performance | SUMO

Miami trio SUMO brings their heavy, “infinitely literary and cinematic” (Jitney Books) sound to The DiLL for an interactive “rig rundown” session explaining how technology influences their process, followed by a live performance. Expect a thunderous mix of space rock, post-punk, and ambient soundscapes paired with visuals. Soft foam earplugs will be provided free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis.

This event is free and open to the public, and presented as part of the Knight Digital Innovation Initiative at Locust Projects. Complimentary refreshments are available for guests aged 21 and older courtesy of our 2025–26 sponsors The Tank Brewing Co. and Topo Chico.
